WARRANTY

We stand 100% behind our workmanship and components.

Components are covered by the manufacturer’s material warranty. That warranty is passed along to you and is valid for a long as you own the rod. Should a component break, we ask that you return the rod to LakeLady. Our staff deals with the manufacturer on your behalf to obtain the appropriate replacement. Your rod will be repaired (or even rebuilt if necessary) and returned it to you. We do ask the customer to bear shipping costs.

Your LakeLady Custom Rod is unconditionally guaranteed against defects in workmanship for one year to the original owner.

This LakeLady warranty does not cover failure due to damage caused by workmanship of others, misuse, abuse, negligence, normal wear and tear or improper care.

Component manufacturers may not warrant parts that have been altered in any way including using a blank for some use other than its intended purpose. This warranty is null and void if the test line class recommendation is exceeded or if the rod is altered in any way — although rods damaged under the above circumstances may be repaired or replaced for a negotiated fee.

PRICING

Since each custom rod we craft is unique and different, we have no stated price list. The cost of the finished rod reflects the cost of the rod blank, the components selected to your specifications, and the cost of any additional aesthetics.

A LakeLady Custom Rod will start at about $350. We provide a firm quote before beginning your rod and ask for a 50% deposit, balance due upon completion. Please note, 3.5% will be added for credit card payment. We also offer rod and reel repair service.

When your rod is shipped, you will also receive a description of every detail about your rod’s construction. When you see the attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship that goes into your rod, you will be proud not only to own the rod, you will be proud that you received excellent value for your purchase.
